Our new gorilla girl at the Dallas zoo is three weeks old and her name is Saambili.

(sam-BEE-lee) I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything cuter!

I once adopted Subira when he was a young lad in Toronto. Is he the proud papa?? More gorilla news always welcome.

  Oh, Margaret! He’s a wonderful, gentle and proud papa! Five minutes after baby was born, he went over and kissed her on the head! Made me cry when I heard that! Yes, other people have said more gorilla news always welcome so I’ll post more about them moving forward. GREAT to hear from you!
